HOW WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

MSK Rehab securely stores your data. We have processes in place to safeguard the information we collect.

Retention and security of clinical records is subject to legislation, therefore, we are under a legal and regulatory obligation to retain your data for a minimum period. For adults, records must be retained for 8 years since the last dated record. For children under 18 years old, records must be retained until their 25th Birthday or 26th Birthday if the child was 17 at the conclusion of treatment. After this retention period has lapsed, your data will be destroyed.

YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

• Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 

• Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
